ACE provides incoming students with the tools needed to ensure their academic, social and emotional success at Carolina.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>Due to COVID-19,\u00a0ACE will\u00a0be held virtually.\u00a0The safety and well-being of everyone at Carolina are at top priority and so we are offering ACE virtually and it will be a series of sessions held over the\u00a0Fall semester,\u00a0instead of\u00a0the traditional two-day experience.\u00a0By participating in ACE, students will:\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>Engage in sessions designed to spark academic curiosity, encourage multiculturalism and facilitate the enhancement of strong cultural identity and positive self-esteem\u00a0<\/li><li>Gain direct access to campus resources, support services and other matriculated students<\/li><li>Engage in sessions with University administration, faculty and staff\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0This\u00a0year, the first session\u00a0will take place\u00a0Wednesday, August 12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0to\u00a0Thursday, August 13<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0In addition,\u00a0this year ACE will not be exclusively just for incoming first-year and transfer students, but open to all
