At UNC-Chapel Hill, we recognize that the pipeline to higher education begins as early as grade school. Inspiring young students that there is an academic future for them beyond high school is vital to their success. This is why we start our outreach by partnering with middle school students to have Carolina Millennial Scholarship Program scholars interact with males from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds on campus to give them a first glimpse of campus life on Tar Heel Preview Day.<\/p>\n

Prospective students, many of whom are already considering continuing their education beyond high school, have numerous opportunities to enjoy the college experience at Carolina: Summer Enrichment Programs (Project Uplift, NC Renaissance, Uplift Plus).<\/p>\n

Admitted students who are pondering their choice are invited to participate in the many programs available as they finalize their decision: Experience Carolina; Native Heels Day; ACE (for first years and transfer students); and\u00a0Dia de Bienvenida.<\/p>\n
